Microsoft's recent acquisition of Bethesda is one of the industry's boldest moves. With franchises like Fallout, and Elder Scrolls, one would think they will eventually become Xbox/PC exclusives, for the time being, this does not seem to be the case due to the globality of said games. However, one of their most recent, and ambitious projects is Starfield, a massive open world space exploration game.
This amazing sci-fi RPG is the latest creation of the Bethesda universe. Judging by the games mentioned previously, one would expect huge maps with lots of quests to perform; in other words, quite a substantial amount of content in this new IP. Executive producer Todd Howard (Bethesda) described the game as a "Skyrim in Space", and a "Han Solo simulator".
This is exactly the kind of exclusive that will strengthen the Xbox Series X. With quite a powerful console, we would expect the game to run smoothly whilst keeping its visual appeal.
The game is set to be released on November 11th 2022.
