Ride 5 Out on August 24; Preorder Now.
The motorbike sim will be the first new-gen only game by Milestone.
Milestone announced on their website that Ride 5 is coming out on August 24. The game promises to go beyond racing by implementing a comprehensive world, where the players can travel to find the best racing location, on board their favorite bike.
Andrea Basilio, Milestone's Head of Game Design said that: "For the first time in the series, they will face recurrent rivals with specific backgrounds, they will have a dedicated headquarter with mechanics and equipment, and there will even be a photographer ready to capture their best moments on the track."
Looks like Ride 5 is going to be Milestone's most ambitious game to date. Check out the announcement trailer to take a peek at its visually stunning graphics.
The game franchise has been characterized by its great variety of bikes and racing venues. Previous games have had an increasing list of classic and modern bikes across different categories. Its tracks are a mix of modern and historic race tracks, combined with street circuits.
Unreal Engine has provided the game with its distinctive photo realism. For the upcoming sequel, Unreal Engine 5 will make the game look even better. Just like MotoGP 23, the game will also implement dynamic weather and 3D procedural clouds, so no sky will look the same.
Basilio also mentioned that they have taken the time to listen to hardcore fans to make the game even better. It is great that Ride 5 considers both veterans and newcomers; people that dive into the world of motorbikes for the first time can customize their experience into something they like.
The game will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Store, and Steam.
