Elden Ring Finally Gets A Gameplay Reveal

One of the most awaited games in recent years finally got a gameplay reveal trailer and a release date (January 2022). Elden Ring is a game created by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the mastermind behind incredible games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro. He collaborated with Game of Thrones author George R.R Martin to produce the latest of the "Souls Borne" series.

Elden Ring will feel familiar with veteran players of the From Software titles. It will feature a central hub and can explore from there "The Lands Between" which is the world created by Miyazaki and Martin. This world will feature six distinct areas or dungeons with their bosses.

The game will feature over 100 types of skills that can be paired with weapons, and magic. These are scattered throughout the map for the player to discover while exploring, and trying to survive. It will also implement many of the well known "Souls Borne" mechanics into the game like stamina bar, stealth, and more.

Elden Ring will come out on January 21, 2022 for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, and Xbox One X/S
