Breath Of The Wild 2: Out On 2022

Nintendo Direct E3 presentation concluded with a banger. We were shown a trailer for Breath Of The Wild 2, the sequel to one of Nintendo's most awaited games. The Legend of Zelda franchise has been very successful on the Nintendo Switch; games like Link's Awakening, and Hyrule Warriors have seen very healthy sales on the console. Even a game like Breath of the Wild which was co-developed for the Wii U has created a solid fan base on the console.

Hyrule seems different this time, and we can see floating islands that could be related to Skyward Sword (another Zelda game being ported to the Switch on June 17) which marked the beginning of the Legend.

The gameplay innovation in this iteration is the verticality and ability to explore the floating island and apparently a new "portal-like" gadget that grands Link the capacity to literary go through the ground. We can also appreciate that he was using different tunics, or clothes throughout the trailer, so we can assume that the amazing inventory system and weather mechanics are still present in the sequel.

The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 is set to be released on 2022 on the Nintendo Switch.
