One of the most anticipated games for the current generation of consoles is Starfield. The game will come out for Xbox and PC.

The epic space, action RPG suffered a delay back in November 2022; Bethesda mentioned that the game needed polishing and a few things taken care of. A release window of early 2023 was set.

Three months have already passed and the game has not come out. We received the news that the game will be released on September 6. It is coming on day one if you have Game Pass on Xbox or PC. Bethesda released a video with the official launch date and a special announcement:

Looks like we are having something similar to what Nintendo stapled a few years ago: a ‘Bethesda Direct’. The event will be streamed on June 11, just before E3 starts. Bethesda will give us more information on the upcoming game, and perhaps we can see gameplay, at least not being shown in the background.

Don’t get me wrong, it was actually pretty cool to see an early look at the game like this; it looks phenomenal. You can customize the character, change between 3rd and 1st person perspective, and the glimpse we had at the combat looks engaging.

Todd Howard, Bethesda’s Director, says that the new worlds are huge. Let’s see how many planets we are able to explore, and if flying spaceships is a core part of the game.

This is the first IP Bethesda has made in over 25 years. They have poured themselves into it, like Howard says. So far everything points out to a magnificent game. One to be remembered for years, and hopefully, mark a milestone for the industry.
